In March 2007 Archer Capital Growth Fund became a substantial shareholder of SCF Containers, Australia’s leading specialised container lesser to the transport industry and a supplier of container equipment to both corporate and retail customers. Archer Capital has partnered with founders Lindsay Carthew and Richard Sykes to capitalise on growth opportunities in the market including alternative uses for containers such as portable accommodation, office buildings and hazardous material storage.

CURA Day Hospitals Group

In 2008 CURA was founded to acquire private day hospitals, with the primary purpose of creating the leading provider of quality day hospital facilities in Australia. Archer teamed with an experienced healthcare management team to found CURA. CURA is also jointly owned with a number of doctors and medical specialists.
CURA currently has facilities in Queensland, NSW, VIC and the ACT.

Homy Ped

In September 2008 Archer Capital Growth Fund partnered with management to acquire Homy Ped, a leading designer, importer and wholesaler of comfort footwear in Australia. Homy Ped products are sold exclusively through approximately 500 Australian pharmacies with all research and development and warehousing located at the company’s head office in Footscray, Victoria.

Australian Helicopters
In November 2008 Archer Capital Growth Fund acquired Australian Helicopters, the largest on shore helicopter operator in the country. The company specialises in large twin engine vehicles providing services to regional governments and large corporate customers. Helicopters are customised for specific applications including emergency medical and rescue services, aerial surveillance and response, marine pilot transfer, fire fighting and news and television. Archer has partnered with senior management to capitalize on growth opportunities within the industry.
